2001
Our Beginning
Born from decades of experience building turnkey homes in Trinidad, our founder saw firsthand the challenges of sourcing unique, quality finishes locally. East of Eden Ltd. began with a curated selection of statuary, architectural components, and concrete tiles—products that would set a new standard for the local market.
2016
Evolution & Growth
What started with concrete tiles evolved into a passion for exceptional surfaces. We rebranded as Mattison Stone & Tile, expanding to import natural stone from premier quarries worldwide and porcelain tiles from renowned factories in Spain and Italy. Quality remains our compass—we go where the best materials are found.
2019
Maraval Showroom
As our collections grew, so did the need for a dedicated space to experience them. We opened our Maraval showroom to offer a more curated and personal shopping experience—where customers can explore tiles and stone in a refined setting, with expert guidance every step of the way.
